Calibishie Cove, a luxurious
boutique guest house in
Dominica has just joined the Butterfly Club. To go to their

Costa Rica is definitely an Eco destination. El
Remanso Rainforest Wildlife Lodge has just signed
up for the Butterfly Club/Eco Rating. They're located in
the Osa Peninsula, which is verdant with primary rainforest
and howler monkeys.
Another eco lodging from Hawaii has signed
up for the Eco Rating. Their place looks lovely and relaxing.

I think the United States has taken a step
in the right direction for world peace and sustainability
by voting in Barack Obama for president. Go Obama!
I've just received the Eco Rating from Hotel
Mocking Bird Hill in Jamaica. They're doing some
great things in terms of sustainability and scored a 4.8 out
of 5.
I'm happy to say that another lodge has signed
up for the Butterfly Club: Arenas Del Mar Beach and
Nature Resort in Costa Rica, to visit their site:

Rica Eco Lodges. They're right
by Manuel Antonio National Park on the Pacific Ocean. On
my visit to that park I remember watching a 3 toed sloth
cross the road. One of my more memorable experiences in Costa
Rica! They've also submitted their Eco Rating and scored
a 4.2 out of 5.
Rivertime Resort and Ecolodge in
Laos has just sent in their Eco Rating. They scored a 4.2
and are doing great things with the community there. This
is a new lodge and we look for some great things to happen
there!
Ever wonder how an eco lodge develops? The

I've just gotten Eco Ratings back from 3 lodges
in Costa Rica. Ojo Del Mar rated a 4.8 out
of 5. Lapa
Rios Ecolodge rated
a 4.6 and The Harmony Hotel rated
a 4.6 as well.
A new member to the Butterfly Club has just
been added. They're in Belize in the Cayo District on 50
acres with 3 miles of trails. To go

The Hermitage Guest House,
a working organic farm in south India just received a 3.8 out
of 5 on their Eco Rating. To see their rating: Eco

The Lodge at Chaa Creek (Chaa
Creek in Belize) has just been benchmarked for Green

Rating and scored a 4.6 out of 5.
Rosalie Forest Eco Lodge in
Dominica has just submitted their Eco Rating and got 5 out
of 5! Not much of a surprise as Jem Winston is truly eco

Finca Esperanza Verde is planning
some incredible things, like a biodigester (to find out what

Eco Rating and they scored 4.2 out of 5.
