Scarborough

as the country’s first seaside resort, Scarborough is an excellent place for a family holiday with two sheltered bays of golden sand.  Historical gems such as Scarborough’s medieval castle and the redeveloped Rotunda Museum, full of fascinating facts about geology and the ground beneath our feet, provide an important link to the past and a stroll along the Dinosaur Coast with its fossils and dinosaur footprints is an unforgettable experience. The town’s award winning parks and gardens provide a perfect place for a stroll or for the more adventurous, why not take to the waves on a surf board or sail boat to take in a different view of the dramatic coastline.
